New placement for Ghost Species

Justin’s horror feature screenplay ‘Ghost Species’ has been selected as a finalist in the Flickers’ Rhode Island International Film Festival. The competition has been running for twenty-five years and qualifies for the Academy Awards, BAFTA and the Canadian Screen Awards.

Behind the scenes on Vindication Swim

Justin continues to film scenes for ‘Vindication Swim’, the biopic film about Mercedes Gleitze, the first British woman to swim the Channel. These pictures were taken on a recent shoot on the sea, as Justin’s character, Leonard Clay, joins Mercedes on an ill-fated attempt to cross the Channel.

Ghost Species wins at UK Motion Picture Festival

Justin’s feature horror screenplay ‘Ghost Species’ has won the Summer Grand Jury Prize at the 2020 UK Motion Picture Festival for Best Unproduced Screenplay Feature. This adds to the (currently) quarter-finalist placement in the Flickers’ Rhode Island International Film Festival. It is the first win for the script, Justin’s second feature screenplay, at the inaugural event run by festival director Stuart Bannerman.

First Look at The Lockdown Hauntings

The first look at the poster and teaser trailer for ‘The Lockdown Hauntings’, Howard J Ford’s latest feature film, have been released. Justin plays Detective Alex Briggs alongside a host of other talented actors. The trailer is below the poster.

PAAN table read

Justin is delighted to participate in a table read for PAAN, a new re-working of a fantastic children’s story set in deep space, as narrator of the script. Written by Tim Westland and J.E. Clarke, this futuristic story takes J.M. Barrie’s ‘Peter Pan’ and adds a new dimension. The table read will happen on 22nd August. For more information, visit Tim’s website.

Filming Vindication Swim

Justin enjoyed his time on set filming in Hastings and Stanmer House for the first block of Elliott Hassler’s ‘Vindication Swim’, playing trainer Leonard Clay to the first British woman to swim the channel, Mercedes Gleitze.

New competitions for Z.APP and Ghost Species

Thriller screenplay ‘Z.APP’ and horror screenplay ‘Ghost Species’ have both been selected as semi-finalists in the Academy-qualifying Flicker Rhode Island Screenplay Competition, part of the Rhode Island International Film Festival.

Vindication Swim

Justin is delighted to be joining the cast of ‘Vindication Swim’, a biopic feature film about the first British woman to swim the Channel.

Directed by Elliott Hasler, the feature film is currently in production in Sussex. Justin will play Leonard Clay, a coach of Mercedes Gleitze.

“Swimmer Mercedes Gleitze fights, along with her troubled coach Harold Best, to overcome both the cold waters of the English Channel and the patriarchal society of 1920s England. However, after a rival comes forward claiming to have accomplished the same feat, Gleitze is forced into a fight to retain her record and her legacy.”

The Lockdown Hauntings

Justin has just finished filming for award-winning director Howard J Ford’s latest film, set in lockdown. Justin plays Detective Alex Briggs. The project is currently working under the name #TheLockDownHauntings with a cast dispersed over England, Europe and the US, including Tony Todd (Candyman, The Crow, Night of the Living Dead, Final Destination), Anglea Dixon (Never Let Go), Jon Campling (Harry Potter, Final Fantasy) and Heather Peace (London’s Burning, Silent Witness, Waterloo Road).
